Mr. Deepankar Sharma

Mr. Deepankar Sharma has completed his BA.LLB. (Hons.) from Jaipur National University and did his LL.M. in Corporate Laws as specialization from National Law University Jodhpur both with first division throughout his academic career. He was selected for LL.M. in Arbitration Laws in University of Hong Kong & was also selected for LL.M. in International & European Commercial Laws with Scholarship at Chinese University of Political Science, Beijing and University of Hamburg, Germany but refused these offers to pursue LL.M. in India. Currently he is pursuing his Doctorate i.e. Ph.D in law from National Law University Jodhpur. Additionally he has successfully completed Diploma in Business Laws & Entrepreneurship Administration from National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS) Kolkata. He has also done Certificate Courses in Cyber Laws & IPR Laws, both from Indian Law Institute, New Delhi.
Academically, he has presented papers and participated as speaker in more than 20 International and National Conferences. He has published more than 10 research papers in International Journals like International Journal of Law, University of Sussex, Bradfordshire, UK.
Internationally, he is appointed and invited as Visiting Scholar at City University of London for research and delivering workshop lecture in the field of Comparative Competition Law. He is also appointed as Visiting Research Associate for the year 2016 at Faculty of Law, University of Hong Kong. He was invited Speaker/ Panelist at the 4th BRICS International Competition Conference, Durban, South Africa organized by Competition Commission of South Africa and Ministry of Finance & Foreign Affairs, Govt. of South Africa.
In the field of Co- Curricular Activities he has participated in numerous National & International Moots and has also won awards for Best Advocate etc. He also received an Appreciation Letter for his contribution from Competition Commission of India. His drafted legislation for White Collar Crimes & Lokpal was sent to Law Commission of India for further reference. Recently he was also appointed as Arbitrator at Dubai International Arbitration Commission (DIAC) and was included in its Young Practitioners Group.
Presently, he is working as Law Faculty at National Law University Jodhpur and is involved in extensive teaching to Under-graduate as well Post-graduate students. He is holding the position of Coordinator at Centre for Competition Law & Policy at NLU Jodhpur.
